Montreal’s Tang Soleil are a merry band of weirdness that runs a clinic of acid damaged rock & roll, leaving riffs and melodies repeating in your head for days. Led by Matt Conger (formerly of Green Bay’s legendary Mystery Girls), their covers reveal a bit about the spectrum of sound these guys traverse (from 60s psych pioneers The Godz to French Pop chanteuse Francoise Hardy), but truly they are an experience takes many unexpected twists and turns. Tang Soleil is a band that will leave you wondering “What just happened?” quickly followed by “Give me more – now.”
